Yes! I admit it. I did, I do, and I will always love New Kids On The Block.
No doubt about it, I consider myself one of the biggest NKOTB fans in the world. Ask anyone who knows me. They'll tell you it's true and that I am crazy. But that's okay. It doesn't matter. They can think what they want. Most of my friends now didn't know me back when the New Kids first started to know how I was then to have something to compare my current excitement to. I used to go to concerts within driving range inluding New Jersey, Philadelphia, Baltimore, and of course, Boston. I'll save the other craziness about some of my experiences at these events for another page but one thing is for sure, the five bad brothers from the beantown land were (still are) the best eye candy there was for us girls. Girls? I say that like I was eight or something. Not! I was nineteen. I am a year younger than Jordan and a year older than Joe. You didn't have to be a "little" girl to like them in the 90's. They had and have fans their own age and we are proud to "Face the Music"!
DON'T YOU KNOW THAT THE TIME HAS ARRIVED? - Jonathan Knight, Step by Step
Are these not the five greatest (and hardest working) guys on the earth? I just can't believe they are actually back on the block. It is truly FANTASMIC!!!!!
They had this photo taken of them while they were in NYC on May 16th for their Today show appearance. What a great pic! I was there, I just wish I had a view as good as this picture. I stood in line starting from 7:00 PM the night before. All was well until about 4:30-5:00 AM when the rain started coming down. Out came the poncho's and umbrella's. We finally were let in to the audience area around 6:45 AM. While we were walking in they were doing a sound check. My heart fell to the floor when I saw Donnie. Those old feelings I had for them between 1990-1994 immediately came rushing back. I was in love all over agan. (Truthfully, I never fell out of love. My love was just in my internal saftey deposit box waiting for them to return to unlock it.) Suddenly we were pushed away by security and forced into one of the sections designated to watch the concert. I had the worst seat (stand) in the house. I am only five foot three. How did I manage to get right in back of the press box? I could not see anything. They sounded so good but I couldn't get a good look at them. Oh well, here's hoping for a better view next time. Of course, meeting them in person would be the bomb! I have so much to ask each and every one of them.
